Board selection, paper texture, wrapped corners, accurate registration and disciplined finishing define perceived quality.
Build from the board outward
Rigid greyboard creates structure, but caliper and density must match box size, product weight and opening style. Folding cartons require a different balance of stiffness, crease performance and surface compatibility.
Use texture with purpose
Linen papers, book cloth, soft-touch coatings and uncoated fibers change both appearance and handling. Compare them under production lighting and against the intended finish.
Inspect the small details
Corner wraps, paper joins, foil edges, emboss depth, liner registration and adhesive control determine whether a premium concept feels resolved in production.
